When You Shouldn’t Get Lash Extensions

Let’s talk about when it’s better not to get lash extensions. Broadly, it splits into two kinds of situations:

When lash extensions are an absolute no. No exceptions here, we hold off.

When you can, but with risks. It’s important to understand there can be catches: the lashes may not hold as long, and an allergy could even show up. But if you understand the risks and take responsibility, you can give it a try.

When you shouldn't get lash extensions

When lash extensions are definitely off the table

When you can get them, but with caution, only if you’re ready for the possible risks

If you really want them, we go with only super-light fans so we don’t overload the natural lashes.

In all of these cases, retention will most likely be worse, and there might be a strong reaction (or there might not), but forewarned is forearmed. It’s worth remembering that the heart of the artist-client relationship is honesty and sharing responsibility for the outcome. Everyone wants to be beautiful, but nothing is more beautiful than a healthy person!
